REVIEW: to heal at all, you have to feel it all by can't swim

Can’t Swim has released another single off their upcoming album, Change Of Plans, the song seems to be a complete mix of everything they’ve experimented with as far as sound goes from the rock sound, a touch of folk, and there’s hidden elements of EDM. “It’s a song about being haunted by the ghosts of your past,” states vocalist Chris LoPorto. “I wrote the entire thing on an airplane because I was having these awful nightmares. The progression is a six times signature where the drums are in four. When I presented the demi to Will Putney, he thought the chorus felt a little better with drums also and six going into the recording process actually thought this song was one of the weakest part of the 12, but wound up being one of the strongest and that’s why we decided to use it for the single.” Following the release of the single we also received a music video to go along with the single and it’s intriguing and gets you hooked from the beginning with our main characters on the run from something. Change of Plans is set to release on October 22 and after receiving this single, it sounds like we’ll see a continuance in this particular sound from the band but there’s still room for surprise.
