SHOW REVIEW: spite - salt lake city, ut

On their second to the last date on the One Step To Becoming tour, Spite rolled through Salt Lake City and it was guaranteed going to be a good night. The entire lineup was stacked with the local band, A Traitor’s Last Breath kicking off the night following after that it followed by the tour support from Bodybox, Vatican, and ending with Boundaries. With a full night like this one, would think the energy from the crowd would die down but that wasn’t even close to happening for this night. The minute that Spite stepped out on stage it was like a surge of energy burst through the room and everyone went wild, a mosh pit had immediately opened up in the room, and fans that were pushed up against the barricade were headbanging the entire time. It’s been quite some time since Spite had rolled through Salt Lake and they were going to definitely make it up to everyone. Darius, the vocalist, spoke out to the crowd, “Salt Lake, I know you guys got more in you. Bring it on, I want all the energy you guys have right with us tonight.” Their setlist included all their newest songs off of their most recent EP, Dedication To Flesh, and a few of their older songs like Kill to Be Killed and Kingdom of Guts. It definitely was a good set and was enough to fuel the rest of us hardcore fans till the next one.
