We got the beautiful release of The Sun Sleeps earlier on in the month, and us Invent, Animate fans have been waiting for the rest. For the roll out of this EP I believe it’s one of the best forms for a band to go about. On the 23rd we got “,” which was an intermission between the two songs with the sounds of steady synths to fill the space but also put a little bit of a guessing game on what will, “As If It Never Was” sound like? The song kicks off with an immediate breakdown from the rest of the instruments and then Marcus kicks in on vocals, in this song I feel like we also see a vocal variation from Marcus and a lot more of a different sound from Invent but it’s a sound definitely worth getting into. We start to hear more that the band is finally getting into a place where they really have pinpointed their sound that they’ve been working hard for, it is absolutely worth giving a listen and adding the band to your music listen to list.
