REVIEW: glow on by turnstile

Earlier this year we got the album release of GLOW ON from Turnstile. If you haven’t been listening, you better be asking yourself why. This album was a complete gamechanger and put Turnstile on the map, which they’ve always been in but definitely gained a ton of new fans with this album. It’s filled with fun and groovy riffs and just straight passion from the band. In Blackout, vocalist Brendan Yates screams in the chorus, “If it makes you feel alive well then, I’m happy to provide!” Which I think is the best way to describe this album, the album brings out nothing but the feel good and energetic vibes out in you. We hear so many different sounds throughout the album from cowbells, tambourines, a crazy Latin breakdown, and dreamy alt-hooks. The album keeps you on your toes with the energy and just not knowing what the next song is going to sound like! I’ve been listening to the album for weeks and there is no doubting that Turnstile is a band that knows what they’re doing, and you shouldn’t be sleeping on them in the slightest. The album gets a solid ranking of 10/10
