For all the fans of hardcore music, Felspar is an upcoming hardcore band from Boone, North Carolina that you want to keep on your radar. They just released their EP, Felspar and this four-song EP is enough to convince you that they’re a band you want to add to your list of favorites. The first song to kick off the EP is Escape and there is no holding back with the guitar and drum intro that kicks off right into the heavy vocals. Throughout the EP the songs range from having unclean vocals and clean vocals. It also has its fair share of breakdowns throughout the songs that make it perfect to jam out to. The final song on the EP is Crutch which was their first single released in anticipation of the EP. The song starts off with a simple slow and steady verse, Crutch is their top streaming song currently and the track gives off the djent hardcore vibes. There’s a lot to take in after listening to this EP and there’s no doubt that Felspar is a must-listen-to on the new upcoming hardcore bands.
