A Sunday Fire is a band based out of Alabama, cultivating a community that you wouldn’t expect in their state. The band consists of Joey Smith, bass, Sam Ferrouillait, drums, Jesse, guitar and Chris Ruiz on vocals.
This track feels like classic alt rock— genre bending and fun. The show build to the chorus created intrigue and the dynamic, almost spoken word like breakdown really drives it home. “Spirit come to me so I know you’re real.” It’s like an incantation, a beautiful plea.
