The Los Angeles-based solo artist AVATARI is back with his newest song “Saturday Night” and it is a great cheesy anthem for those who need an escape from the world. The synth pop-rock atmosphere feels almost nostalgic, like you’re going out for the weekend to have some fun at some packed dance club with that blue or purple haze floating around, flashing lights illuminating the room and drinks everywhere. You might even find someone that has that “Saturday Night” feeling. That’s what this song feels like to me. The lyrics may seem a little cheesy, but it’s upbeat tempo and poppy electronic sounds make for anyone wanting to dance to it. It seems like it’s perfect with things slowly opening back up from the pandemic, because maybe we all need that “Saturday Night” feeling right now.
