REVIEW: damaged art by hidden figures

Hidden Figures from Worcester, MA is back with their fourth song called “Damaged Art” from their upcoming EP “For the Both of Us”. It hits close to home for anyone who lost someone in their lives recently, as it touches on the topic of their personal experiences after losing their friend and bandmate Timothy Plouffe. There are countless amounts of struggles and grief when losing someone, but lyrics such as “And I know that I was meant to be something more than damaged art” show that they are moving forward in honor of him and continuing his legacy with this dedicated track. Produced by Ricky Armellino of Ice Nine Kills, who also makes a special guest appearance, the song features bouncy guitar riffs in the verses and open chords in the choruses, syncopated drum grooves to match the guitars, and some aggressive vocals. Anyone who’s a fan of metalcore-structured songs will also be a fan of this so go check it out!
